WWA’s Waterfowlers Academy program helps the next generation of waterfowlers understand how to hunt ethically and effectively.
The Waterfowl Hunters EXPO brings waterfowlers from across the state to celebrate of all things waterfowling from the latest gear, to seminars on science and cooking, dog training and competitions, state calling and decoy carving contests and much more. A multi-day extravaganza, it’s designed to be fun for the entire family while promoting.

WWA’s middle school science curriculum is available free-of charge to middle school teachers, and uses the lifecycle of migratory game birds to develop an appreciation of science through fun exercises, including a project to build and install a local wood duck box, then stay abreast of hatch activity through a remote camera mounted on the box.
