With 40 years of wetland restoration experience and tens of thousands of restored wetland acres to our credit, WWA has unique credentials to assist federal, state and local governments with wetland restorations.
With historic budget cuts and staffing turnover, the WDNR came to us to get hydrological restoration expertise on their extensive state land holdings.
Similarly, the US Fish and Wildlife Service works with WWA for projects in the Necedah Wildlife Refuge and other areas around the state.
Under these agreements, WWA is restoring thousands of wetland acres that support wildlife life cycles and that we all can enjoy throughout the year. These projects also help surrounding communities.
