Private Lands<\/span><\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Wetland owners willing to improve and invest in their wetlands have a partner in WWA.<\/p>\n

WWA works with willing landowners to restore hydrological functions to their impaired wetlands.<\/p>\n

WWA ecologists will review the site, work with the landowner to identify project goals, develop a design, and assist with permitting through local, state and federal authorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If the project is a good fit for us, we may bring some funding to the project from various grant sources.\u00a0 <\/span>We will expect the landowner to have some \u201cskin in the game\u201d and maintain the property after the restoration is complete.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For these private land projects, the landowner must commit that the work will not be undone or adversely impacted by other projects in the next decade.\u00a0 <\/span>This commitment does NOT require future public access to the property.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
